Korea To Host Asbc Asian Mens Boxing Championship From Aug 3-13, 2011 |
| The ASBC Asian Men?s Boxing Championship that was scheduled to be held at Amman, Jordan from the 17th to the 27th of June?11 has been postponed and will not be hosted by Jordan Amateur Boxing Association. The championship has been shifted to August 3-13, 2011 and it will be held in the city of Incheon of Korea.
With a view to further promote and popularize the boxing in Arab countries the ASBC management has taken a decision to grant this right to Jordan. But the instable situation in the Middle East did not allow Jordan to host such a significant and large scale event. Fortunately there were many federations ready to host such prestigious competitions. After detailed negotiations with the representatives of South Korea, ASBC has decided to hold this continental championship in the period from August 3-13, 2011 in the city of Incheon of Korea.
